On October 27, 2021, Bonfire implemented some adjustments to the base cost of our non-apparel products as well as our shipping costs. All campaign batches launched on or after October 27, 2021, will function under our new base cost model. While these changes vary by product, here’s what you need to know:

  • Non-apparel base costs have increased by up to $2

  • Domestic shipping has increased by $1 (see more details)

This realignment allows us to keep Bonfire free to use without sacrificing the quality of your experience.

Is my campaign affected?

All campaign batches that launch on or after October 27, 2021, will function under our new base cost model. If your current batch was launched before this date, it will still function under the old base cost model but will change to the new model when the campaign relaunches for the next batch.

The shipping cost adjustment goes into effect for orders placed on or after October 27th regardless of the batch launch date.

Selling price adjustments for some campaigns

For a small number of campaigns, our systems indicated that one or more products had selling prices that needed to be adjusted slightly for the campaign to continue to be profitable at low quantities. For these campaigns, Bonfire made the smallest possible adjustment to the selling price to ensure items would still have a profit.

If you have any questions about these adjustments, please feel free to reach out at support@bonfire.com. We are here to help.

Base costs for apparel products were adjusted on September 15, 2021. Read more about that here.
