Welcome to Bonfire’s Community Guidelines! Bonfire cherishes its community and always strives to create a safe and respectful space for our users. By using our website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions and to abide by these Community Guidelines.

As Bonfire users, you are responsible for your behavior. If we see public behavior that could harm our users, we may take action to protect our community.

Violating Content

We do not allow content or accounts that engage in violent, dangerous, or fraudulent content. We may consider off-platform actions in assessing a Bonfire account. If Bonfire assesses that a user violates this policy, we may delete your campaigns or account for violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.

Below are examples of content that may violate Bonfire’s Community Guidelines, including but not limited to:

Discrimination, Racism, and Hate Speech

  • Campaigns that promote hatred toward people based on their race, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or religion. We do not allow hate groups, symbols, or individuals dedicated to disparaging these groups.

  • Content that infringes on or violates other’s rights.

Threats of Violence or Terrorism

  • Content that attacks, bullies, or threatens individuals or groups. We do not allow death threats to any individuals or groups.

  • Content promoting violent criminal organizations.

Fraudulent Content

  • Content that promotes or encourages fraud in any way, including monetary fraud, spam, medical misinformation, defamation, or deceptive behavior.

  • Copyrighted or protected material that is not owned by you or that you hold the appropriate license(s) to use.

  • Content that breaches confidentiality or privacy.

  • Content that contains misleading, inaccurate, and/or dishonest statements.

  • Malicious content, such as:

    • Malicious impersonation, including impersonation of another business, individual, or charity.

    • Malicious content which is harmful in nature including, and without limitation, computer viruses, Trojan horses, corrupted data, or other potentially harmful software or data.

Sensitive Content

  • Any sexual nudity, including pornography, child pornography, sex trafficking, sexual assault, or other obscene content.

  • Content promoting suicide or self injury.

Illegal Content

  • The constitution, promotion or encouragement of illegal acts or content that encourages or constitutes conduct that would be deemed a criminal offense, give rise to a civil liability, or otherwise is contrary to the law in any applicable jurisdiction where our Website is being used.

    • Political speech or discussions about topics or events that are illegal may be acceptable.
