Introduction

A supporter list provides a breakdown of information about your campaign(s) or payouts. Once generated, a report will be downloadable in .CSV format.

Verified nonprofits can also download custom reports as an organization perk.

Note: Only information from buyers who consent to have their information shared during checkout will be available. For campaigns connected to verified nonprofits, supporters must consent to share their information in order to place their order. To learn what information is available, check out Supporter Contact Information.

To connect your account to a nonprofit, check out: How to Claim Your Nonprofit's Profile Page.

How to generate a standard report

As a user connected to a verified nonprofit organization, you can still generate the standard pre-configured reports via a specific campaign page, or the payouts page.

How to generate a custom report

If you are connected to a verified nonprofit, then you’ll also have the ability to generate a custom report.

Generating a custom report allows you to select multiple campaigns, as well as which columns you want included in the report, and the specific date range for the completed orders (campaign reports only).

Custom campaign report

Campaign reports will show you the supporter details from each completed order for the selected campaigns.

Here are the steps to generate a campaign report:

  1. Navigate to the Reports page - Found in the dashboard sidebar, under “Organization”.

  2. Click the Campaigns tab - this tab is pre-selected.

  3. Select campaigns - This will open a modal with a list of your organization campaigns and giving campaigns connected to your organization. Campaigns without completed orders will be disabled. You can use the filter to help find the campaigns you’re looking for.

  4. Select columns - Choose which columns you’d like to be included in the report.

  5. Select a date range - The report will only include campaign orders that were completed within this date range.

  6. Generate the report - Click “Generate .csv report”.

  7. Set password - Setting a password is optional unless your organization has requested for this to be mandatory.

  8. Check your email - When your report has been generated, a link to download your report will be emailed to you (we will use the email connected to your Bonfire account).

    1. Once your report has been generated, you’ll also be able to download it from the “History” section on the reports page. It will be available for 24 hours. Other members from your organization can also download the report you generated.

    2. After 24 hours, the report will be removed from Bonfire and you’ll have to re-generate the report. You can do this easily by selecting the report and clicking the “Apply these filters” button, followed by the “Generate .csv report” button.

Custom payout report

Payout reports will show you the supporter details from each order within the selected payouts.

Here are the steps to generate a payout report:

  1. Navigate to the Reports page - Found in the dashboard sidebar, under “Organization”.

  2. Click the Payouts tab

  3. Click the Payout Tab

  4. Select payouts - This will open a modal where you can select the payouts you’d like included in the report.

  5. Select columns - Choose which columns you’d like to be included in the report.

If the report doesn’t download automatically (some browsers will block the popup), click the “downloading manually” link.
